how can i get orange backlight in the keypad since i want to put new body of w610 on the phone since the k550 body has got broken at some areas…….plzz help

before starting any update of my firmware software in se k 550i

please let me go through this>>>>>>>>>>>>

Is it possible to change firmware if there is any hardware problems;

Can it be incorporating in flashing?????????

I have problem related to my CAMERA- it’s that the switch bus connector is loosened
& right now my camera & flash LEDs not working

Still can I FLASHHHHHHH it???????????????

i really expect an expertise to resolve this is there any solutions to this problem???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

@bhuvan: thx for reply. yeah..i read in a forum that orange firmware is newer and more stable. it’s okey now, i patch it and i get the activity menu back. btw thx again.

Can I proceed to flash my k550i if the EROM CID = 51? In your tutorial you mentioned that EROM CID should be 52.
If it needs to be 52, how do I update EROM CID?

Guys.. i want to ask something. i crossflash my k550 to w610 with FW R6CA001 Orange. Everything is just fine, but one problem is my activity button change become menu button. My question is, (-) is it like that or there is something wrong with my phone? I get the FW from SEUser. (-) if it is like that so where is the activity button?? It useless if there’s no activity button, i mean how do i get to the multitasking menu. Sory of my english , thanks in advance.

I have gone to some of my local shops. There it shows that the network is locked. Not only this i have tried with several sims. Give me directions how to unlock the phone. Please i need some real help. And, thanks for your reply.

Thnx guys i convrtd my k550i cid53 to w610 by flashing it with W610_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_NA_RED53.mbn

Nw wn m trying to apply quick patches

as per ur tuts i Copied main firmware, MBN to Rest Folder and drag and drop the main firmware file (.mbn file) onto mkrest2.exe ! (Far\Plugins\jdflasher\rest)

It shud create the rest file for my firmware. but i would not create any file.

I tried it several times with several mbn

it do noe create plese help.
