i have a k610i phone.. and the owner of this phone before had upgraded it into w810i or w610i (i think).. now the problem here is everytime i play music or songs, it hangs.. but if i lower the brightness of the screen/phone, it doesn’t hang.. what might be the problem? and how can i solve it? please help me….

Just qurious if i edit vkp file using mini commander which in utf8 and save file as *.vkp, can i use that vkp file for apply patch?

IOusb:getblock=not able to read blocks!
mainly caused by bad usb connection!
if nothing helps then reflash!
may be firmware is corrupt!
get firmwares from topse.ru or topsony.com only!

as u said i used jdflasher to apply elf patch but it gives following error:

no qa needs to be applied for once!!!
if u reflash ur main then only qa needs to be applied back!
sometimes setool cant handle big vkp patches!
use jdflasher!
its powerful fast and easy!

Gotcha. Well, I still have the original SIM, so I guess that wouldn’t be a problem. Though the SIM isn’t active anymore (I’m no longer with that company).

I’m not sure if I have a2 or not – how do I check? It’s a “K550im” …

yea using seus may do that!the main thing is it will upgrade it to cid53 which sucks!!!!
a big barrier in patching cid53 easily!
liek for unlocking a cid53 phone u need the operator’s sim to which the phone is locked!
in cid52 is do not!
fs…as we have experimented u can use any fs but i prefer the one which matches ur main’s version
u are asking regarding softkeys i guess
u are having a2 phone right?

Under settings | shortcuts I can only change the shortcuts for the arrow keys (up down left right) not the two other keys on either side of the handset.

Which fs should I flash the phone with? The generic one I used to generate the unloack patch with?

What happens if I do the ‘phone update’ thing in the SE PC software? Would that (re)block my phone again?

Dude i have a serius issue and reding all this patching stuff from almost 5-6 days but cant get my anwser……THis above givent tutorial realy seemed to work as told… but my expectations collapsed at the poin when SETOOL uploads script …i mean at following point

VKP script loaded OK. Lines: 1637
Patch structure created OK. Determining blocks to read…
