DB2010 phones are K750, D750, W800, W300, Z530, etc. Use DBCIDExplorer to know what your phone is.

We always focused on DB2020 platform as our phones (mine and Akshay’s are K550@W610 models). We talked about the Quick-Access thing, without mentioning the history of patching.

Now it is clear that using JDFlasher is better than using SeTool2Lite, because it is faster and you can apply several patches with it without disconnecting the phone. read all »

A black day in our history, 8th of July 2008.

I was just working on a brand new JavaScript-based forum for seflashing.extra.hu, our used-to-be forum, when I discovered, I can’t open the page with Firefox. I first thought it was a server problem, but then I couldn’t log on the ftp server of it, and neither extra.hu itself. It says “User seflashing is blocked.“, I think they didn’t like our free content… but those files were legal, the only copyright problem may occur with the firmwares, which we never hosted (only had links for a short time).

So I guess that’s it folks, seflashing.extra.hu is dead for good now. As of 2008.07.08 we had 1097 files, 179.16 MB of SE flashing data, and people download files from it 62403 times, which is 627.94 for each day.

Despite that the ftp and the http surface doesn’t work, I could manage to rescue the SQL server’s content, users, forum.

This isn’t the end yet, at least maybe it isn’t. We might resurrect the portal for forum, but I doubt it will have any downloads, we don’t want to be banned again. Sorry, guys. :’(
